Details:
For the third year running, four pillars of the State College music scene return to the stage, not as a lineup, but as what they’ve always been: old friends. Ken Mathieu, a veteran of the ’60s folk circuit who played Gerde's Folk City and later signed with the Robert Stigwood Organization, helped lay the groundwork for a generation of local musicians. Jerry Zolten, Penn State Professor Emeritus, produced a Grammy-winning recording with The Fairfield Four and has spent decades preserving and performing American roots music with Code Blue. Jon Rounds is a songwriter’s songwriter, with a catalog performed by dozens of regional artists and appearances at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe. And David Fox, winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest and former George Harrison in Beatlemania, rounds out the group with decades of songwriting and performance. We are all old friends when these musicians gather. Come join them.
