Salem as Muse | Massachusetts Shoemaking: Looking Back and Stepping Forward

Join bootmaker Sarah Madeleine T. Guerin for an engaging artist talk in the "Salem as Muse" lecture series, where she will discuss her bootmaking process at PEM's Lye-Tapley Shoe Shop, along with her artistic background and practices. Joined by PEM's Curator-at-Large Paula Richter, Guerin will also explore the museum’s impressive shoe collection and the rich local history of shoemaking. This event, part of PEM's Salem 400+ celebrations, will take place in the Morse Auditorium and requires preregistration, with admission included with your ticket.
