Details:
Join us for Creative Kids: Emerging Artists, a week-long program running from July 13 to July 17, 2026, at PEM. Designed for young creators, this engaging experience will immerse students in the world of artistry through the museum’s exhibitions and galleries, fostering their creative expressions across various time periods and cultures. Daily activities will run from 9 am to 4 pm, featuring hands-on projects in visual arts, writing, and multimedia led by teaching artists. Sessions will include games, art-making, exploration of the museum, and writing workshops with breaks for snacks and lunch. Participants will respond to their experiences creatively and showcase their work during a family reception at 4 pm on July 17. Registration is $550 for the week and includes lunch, snacks, and art supplies. Drop-off begins at 8:30 am, and late pick-up is available until 5 pm for an extra fee. Comfortable clothing is recommended, and enrollment is limited to 16 students. A registration form must be completed by July 12, 2026, to secure your child’s spot. This program is made possible by The Joseph and Robert Cornell Memorial Foundation, with additional support from Jeffrey P. Beale and Gevelyn R. McCaskill.
