Details:
Green STEM Camp will be relocated to the Jefferson Library on the 1st floor of Jefferson Hall--room number 179 on JUNE 2, 2026. Green STEM Camp families can still park in the Patton lot for drop off and pick up. Additionally, we will meet families at the front entrance of Patton in the morning for check-in. From there, the campers and counselors will walk as a group to Jefferson Hall, which is just across the street. We will return to the back entrance of Patton on Wednesday. Green STEM Camp, a unique summer program offered through The Patton College of Education's Stevens Center for Literacy and STEM Education, is designed to educate and empower children and youth about nature, environmental literacy, sustainability practices, and conservation. Through hands-on activities and immersive experiences, participants learn about the importance of environmental stewardship and how they can make a positive impact on our planet. Field trips and experiential learning opportunities outside the Stevens Center for Literacy and STEM Education will be organized as frequently as possible, further enhancing the campers’ understanding of environmental conservation.
