Second Sunday Laurel & Hardy / Our Gang Talkie Matinee

Join us for the Second Sunday Laurel & Hardy / Our Gang Talkie Matinee featuring the classic film "Sons of the Desert" (1933, Hal Roach Studios). In this hilarious comedy, Stan and Ollie deceive their wives into believing they are going on a medicinal cruise, only to attend a convention instead, leading to unexpected consequences. The screening will be preceded by "Roamin' Holiday" (1937) from Our Gang and "In Walked Charley" (1932) starring Charley Chase, all produced by Hal Roach Studios. Films will be projected in 16mm format unless otherwise specified. Tickets are available for purchase in our store during open hours or online at www.nilesfilmmuseum.org/. Suggested donation for members is $8 and $10 for non-members. The museum and store are open from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
