Sensory-Friendly Sunday Mornings

Join us for Sensory-Friendly Sunday Mornings, a FREE event held on the last Sunday of each month at MODS from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., where the Museum opens early for sensory-friendly exploration and activities. Enjoy a variety of sensory-based activities designed to promote social interaction and enhance sensory processing in a supportive environment for individuals on the autism spectrum. The theater lights will be adjusted, sound levels lowered, and all films will be presented in 2D without trailers. Guests are encouraged to move around, sing, dance, and bring comfort items like snacks and blankets. The schedule includes explorations and activities from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., followed by an IMAX film screening at 12:30 p.m. This event is FREE, but preregistration is required.
