Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt: Summer Reading Club

Dive into summer fun at the Morris County Library with our exciting lineup of events for all ages!

**Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt** invites children from birth to age 12 to pick up a checklist in the Children's Room and embark on a quest to find dinosaur pictures displayed on windows around the library. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver, and once they uncover all the dinosaurs, they can claim a bonus summer reading club raffle ticket and prize, provided they’re registered in the Summer Reading Club.

For teens aged 13-18, the **Summer Grab and Go** event offers weekly crafts available at the Reader Services Desk, with one craft per teen while supplies last. In addition, don’t miss the exhibition "Declaration 1776: The Big Bang of Modern Democracy," on display from December 2025 to December 2026, showcasing the impact of the Declaration of Independence.

Teens can also join the **Teen Summer Reading Bingo** by obtaining a Bingo Card at the Readers Services desk and marking off squares for reading and completing challenges from June 29 to August 15, 2026. Prizes include an Unearth a Story swag bag and a chance to win a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card for early submissions.

Children aged 12 and under can register for the Summer Reading Club starting June 15, with reporting running from June 29 to August 8. Participants will receive goody bags and earn raffle tickets for reading reports, culminating in a grand prize drawing on August 10 for a Barnes & Noble gift card.

Lastly, adults aged 18 and older can get in on the fun with the **Adult Summer Reading Bingo** from June 1 to August 31, 2026. By marking off squares on their bingo cards, they’ll have the chance to win one of three $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards by submitting their completed cards by 9:00 p.m. on August 31.
