Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt: Summer Reading Club

Join us for an exciting summer at the Morris County Library with a variety of engaging events for all ages! Children ages birth to 12 can participate in the Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt by picking up a checklist in the Children's Room and searching for dinosaur pictures around the library. Upon completion, participants can earn a bonus summer reading club ticket and a prize, provided they are registered for the summer reading club, which runs from June 15 to August 8, concluding with a grand prize drawing on August 10.

Teens ages 13-18 can explore their creative side at the "Summer Grab and Go" event featuring weekly crafts available at the Reader Services' Desk, limited to one per teen while supplies last. Additionally, teens can join the Teen Summer Reading Bingo from June 29 to August 15. By completing reading challenges and submitting their Bingo cards, participants have the chance to win an Unearth a Story swag bag and a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card.

Adults aged 18 and older can partake in the Adult Summer Reading Bingo from June 1 to August 31. By marking off squares as they read and submitting their completed cards by the deadline, they are also entered to win one of three $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards.

Don’t miss the exhibition "Declaration 1776: The Big Bang of Modern Democracy," on display from December 2025 to December 2026, showcasing how the Declaration of Independence has influenced aspirations for equality and self-determination worldwide. Happy reading and crafting to all!
