Splash Pad Open Hours in English Park in Altavista

The Town of Altavista offers a free-to-the-public splash pad in English Park from May until the end of September. The operating hours are 10:00 AM until 7:00 PM daily from Saturday, May 23 (Memorial Day weekend) through Monday, Sept. 7 (Labor Day) and weather permitting on weekends in May prior to Memorial Day and September after Labor Day.

There are water implements that spray, mist and shower children while they play. Users of the splash pad are reminded that swim diapers are required for infants; regular diapers are not allowed on the splash pad and that there is no lifeguard on duty. In the event of storms with lightning and thunder, the splash pad will be closed until it is safe for use.
