Details:
Pittsylvania County, along with the towns of Chatham, Gretna and Hurt, will host a July 4 festival celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
The event will take place July 4 at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex and on Main Street in Chatham.
A parade on Main Street in Chatham is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex
Organizers announced live music performances by Phase II Band, Starlett & The Bluegrass Knights and Matt Boswell & The Hillbilly Blues Band.
Additional activities planned include inflatables, a parade, train rides, a Field of Honor display, a rock-climbing wall, community vendors, bingo, food trucks and fireworks.
