Details:
Pittsylvania County, along with the towns of Chatham, Gretna and Hurt, will host a July 4 festival celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
The event will take place July 4 in Downtown Chatham and at the Olde Dominion Agricultural Complex.
A parade on Main Street in Chatham is scheduled to begin at 11 AM
An opening ceremony is scheduled for 1 PM
Fireworks are scheduled at approximately 9 PM

9:00 AM – Field of Honor
11:00 AM – Parade in Downtown Chatham to kick things off
12:00 PM – Event Opens to the Public at ODAC
1:00 PM – Welcome Kickoff
1:15 PM – Speeches by Public Figures
1:30 PM – Main Address

2:00 PM – Phase II Band (Jazz, Contemporary)

Organizers announced live music performances by Phase II Band, Starlett & The Bluegrass Knights and Matt Boswell & The Hillbilly Blues Band.
Additional activities planned include inflatables, a parade, train rides, a Field of Honor display, a rock-climbing wall, community vendors, bingo, food trucks and fireworks.
