Appomattox for Equality's 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Join us as we celebrate Appomattox for Equality's 7th Annual Juneteenth Celebration and the 161st Anniversary of Juneteenth.

Come together with us as a community to honor the significance of June 19th, the day in 1864 when the last enslaved people in America learned of their freedom. Celebrate with us as we reflect on our history, uplift our community, and inspire the change we want to see in Central Virginia.

This event is FREE and open to the community and surrounding counties. There will be live entertainment, Kuumba Dance Ensemble, 360 photo booth, Bingo, arts and crafts, door prizes, 50/50 raffle, various vendors, and Walker's Fish Chicken and More!
