Kathy Kleinsteiber founded the Kirk Park Native Plant Pollinator Garden in 2022 with the goal of improving biodiversity in her neighborhood and beyond. Her journey began with walks in nature, a budding infatuation with birds and a lifelong flirtation with drawing. Her passion for nature and deep respect for the environment, along with a desire to connect people with nature, led her to her role creating pollinator gardens in public parks. StephanieMorris is a licensed landscape architect. She focuses on ecologically-oriented design in the South Bay Area utilizing California native plants for pollinators. Stephaniealso volunteers with the Santa Clara Valley California Native Plant Societys Gardening with Natives Group.
