Details:
Hone your skills as we gather to educate and inspire you to explore a variety of sustainability practices. Our workshop series will cover topics such as herbal uses, sustainable gardening, waste reduction, and more. Each workshop will include content demonstrations from local area experts, hands-on activities, and a practical take- home project related to the area of focus. Our goal is to broaden your eco-friendly practices into your personal operation and guide you in future-oriented thinking. Project materials will be provided for each workshop.
The final workshop in our sustainability series focuses on creating home landscapes that actively support local wildlife and healthy ecosystems. Participants will learn how to design spaces that provide shelter and resources for pollinators, insects, birds, and other wildlife, helping to build a more balanced and resilient environment. The session's take-home project is a gourd-eous birdhouse made from locally grown gourds, a functional, eco-friendly way to invite wildlife into your own yards.
