Join Jennifer Schlick and her journey on becoming a practicing herbalist. With a concentration on plants she can grow, forage, or source locally, Jennifer is exploring the healing power of plants. She will share some of her experiences and experiments working with herbs both medicinally and culinarily. Jennifer retired from ACNC in 2020 after 22 years as a naturalist, program director, grant writer, and "other jobs as assigned." She now lives in Lakewood, New York, where she is slowly turning her lawn into gardens. In addition to learning about herbalism, she enjoys playing with her grandson, volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Western New York, hiking, and exploring nature. $8 Adults; $6 Nature Center members $6 Children 9 – 15 Reservations appreciated, walk-ins welcome.
