Details:
Reading Buddies pairs children with teen volunteers for one-on-one reading time. Read with a therapy dog! Special guests will be helping with Reading Buddies on July 15. Seneca County Jr. Fair Canine Princess, Lily, and her therapy dog, Athena, will be available as reading partners. This program is designed for kids who want extra practice, need a confidence boost, or simply feel more comfortable reading with a buddy. Students work to strengthen fluency and comprehension. Non-readers are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
