Discover the amazing wildlife that call Kaweah Oaks Preserve home.

Adventure at Kaweah Oaks Preserve: Day #2 invites campers to discover the incredible wildlife and ecosystems that make the preserve unique. Through hands-on activities, outdoor exploration, and creative reflection, participants will learn how animals and plants interact with one another and the habitats they call home.

Throughout the morning, campers will rotate through interactive activity stations exploring native and invasive species, bird identification and birding, nature journaling, and animal migration. Each activity encourages observation, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Whether spotting birds along the trail, learning about local ecosystems, or recording discoveries in a nature journal, students will leave with new skills, lasting memories, and a deeper appreciation for the wildlife that surrounds them.
