Forest bathing is the art of taking a “soak” in the woods. Join poet Michael Dylan Welch for an inspirational eco-focused exploration of how forests and trees can help us improve our health and well-being, and how haiku poetry can help us be more attentive to the natural world around us. Michael Dylan Welch is a prolific writer and translator of haiku and has been published in three Norton anthologies and numerous magazines, including The Atlantic Monthly. Registration not required. Reasonable accommodation for people with disabilities is available by request. Email access@kcls.org at least seven days before the event.
