Join us for our October Uplift + Inspire Experience: Vintage Candle Making Workshop with Flicker & Fizz.
An afternoon of creativity and camaraderie as we venture to the Flicker & Fizz Vintage Candle Studio, a hidden speakeasy-style gem tucked inside a charming South Minneapolis vintage store. Inspired by vintage cocktail culture and the warmth of gathering with friends, Jessica—the Candle Maker and Cocktail Shaker behind Flicker & Fizz—has designed a one-of-a-kind space where creativity, nostalgia, and community come together.
During this private event, you'll be guided through the art of candle making, selecting from a variety of curated vintage glassware and fragrances to create a custom candle that's uniquely your own. As part of Flicker & Fizz's signature experience, each scent is thoughtfully paired with a classic or inspired cocktail, and you'll receive a recipe card for your chosen pairing to take home—bringing together the aromas, flavors, and memories of the day long after your candle has been poured.
Guests are welcome to bring their favorite sip to enjoy during class, making this BYOB experience the perfect blend of hands-on creativity and relaxed socializing. As you craft, soak in the cozy atmosphere filled with vintage treasures, thoughtful details, and the welcoming spirit that makes Flicker & Fizz so special.
Your class registration of $65 includes the creation of one vintage glassware candle. If you'd like to build a matching set, optional add-ons are available at the workshop: add a coordinating empty glass for $10 or a matching candle glass for $30. It's the perfect way to create a beautiful keepsake set to enjoy at home or share as a gift. All add-ons can be selected and purchased in person at the studio.
