Details:
There's no place like home! After being swept away in a tornado, a young heroine named Dorothy and her dog Toto end up in a wonderful land called Oz where she embarks on a journey to see the Wizard of Oz in order to get home and makes friends with a Scarecrow who wants a brain, a Tinman who wants a heart, and a Lion who wants some courage all ... Wizard of Oz is a musical, but most roles do not sing alone. If your child does not wish to sing a solo, please indicate on the registration notes section. The script will be used as a teaching tool to introduce kids to theatrical concepts and vocabulary, teamwork and self-reliance. Kids will rehearse a 20-minute version of the popular musical, 2-3 songs plus a few lines of dialogue to connect them. Students will be working with a professional director, choreographer and vocal coach. Students should dress to move and bring their own water bottle and snack for each class. A final performance for parents and invited guests will take place at the end of the final camp day. This camp is at MAC 380 Rivertown Drive, Suite 200 in Woodbury
