4 on the Fourth

Kick off your Independence Day festivities with a spirited 4-mile run that sets off the fireworks early! The course takes you on a scenic journey along a paved trail in a lollipop-style race, commencing at Colby Lake Park.
Kids 1k Firecracker Race! This festive and family-friendly race is designed just for kids ages 4 to 12! The event takes place on a safe, fully paved loop trail at Colby Lake Park, where young runners will complete a one-kilometer course. The race will start at 8:00 AM and volunteers will be stationed along the course to cheer on the runners and ensure their safety. All participants will receive a race bib and a finisher's medallion.
After the run, families can enjoy light refreshments, and Fourth of July games while cheering on the start of the 4 mile race. Check-in for all races opens at 7:00 AM, and pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee a spot.
The 4 on the Fourth is a cashless event. For day of registration, please bring a smartphone and give yourself plenty of time to complete the online login, registration, and payment process.
