Summer Drawing and Painting Classes

Join us for an exciting Summer 2026 at Emerge with our comprehensive art offerings, including Summer Drawing and Painting Classes and Summer Metal Design and Jewelry Classes.

Our Drawing and Painting Classes welcome both beginners and experienced artists to explore various mediums—watercolor, acrylic, oils, charcoal, and graphite—all in a collaborative, small group setting that emphasizes personalized instruction. Classes are held on Thursdays from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with Session 1 running from June 11 to July 23 (skipping the week of July 6) and Session 2 from July 30 to September 3. The cost is $100 for Emerge members and $140 for non-members, with first-day supplies included.

In parallel, our Jewelry Classes introduce essential metalsmithing techniques such as stone setting and fabrication, using materials from home or our studio. No prior experience is required, and the classes are also offered on Thursdays during the same time frame, priced at $130 for members and $170 for non-members (general supplies included, excluding fine metals).

Additionally, enrolled metal design students aged 18 and over can attend open studio sessions on Wednesday evenings for project work.

Celebrate the community and creativity with the Official Ribbon Cutting for Cooper’s Cup in Winterville, NC on June 11, followed by a June Craft Night hosted by Erin Lockamy at the Farmville Public Library.
