Barnyard Banter: The U.S. Bicentennial 1976

Fort Christmas Historical Park's Barnyard Banter programs are fun and educational for all ages! On Saturday, July 18, from 1-2 p.m., the U.S. Bicentennial 1976 celebration will be discussed. Fifty years ago we celebrated 200 years of American history. This was the year for the founding of new museums, wagon trains across the country and the renewed interest in the study of history. As we now celebrate 250 years, this will be a fun look back at the 1970s. This is a FREE program, open to the public.

On the third Saturday of each month, a program is offered for free and is open to the public. Parents and children or grandparents and grandchildren will enjoy learning together about how things were done in the past.
