Details:
Join the Winona Public Library and naturalists from Whitewater State Park for "Nature Knowledge" events on June 11 and July 10 at 10 AM at Windom Park. On June 11, participate in two exciting programs: learn about local fossils and engage in a related craft in the Bell Art Room, and explore the fascinating world of butterflies with a short walk to catch and observe them up close, as well as a fun butterfly craft. On July 10, discover common snakes in southeastern Minnesota during "Slithering into Your Heart," where you'll learn about local rattlesnakes and their look-alikes, with the opportunity to meet live snakes. These interactive sessions are designed for ages 6 and up, with children under 8 requiring adult supervision.
