Hello Winona! New Resident Meet-Up Event: Winona Tour Boat

Join us this summer for two fantastic community events in Winona designed to help newcomers and residents connect while enjoying the beauty of the Mississippi River.

First, the "Hello Winona! New Resident Meet-Up Event" invites new residents to a special evening on Thursday, July 23, from 6-7:30 p.m. aboard the Winona Tour Boat. Experience a scenic cruise while mingling with fellow newcomers, learning about local attractions, and enjoying light refreshments available for purchase. This free event requires an RSVP, as space is limited.

Additionally, the "River Queens: Weekly Paddling Series" runs every Thursday from June 18 to September 17, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at Prairie Island Campground. Open to all experience levels, participants can explore the peaceful backwaters of the Mississippi for a fee of $20-30, depending on gear rental. Each session features supportive guides and guest speakers, including naturalists and musicians, enhancing your understanding of the river's ecology and history.

After paddling, participants can unwind with Sunset Yoga led by Laura, featuring a vinyasa flow class starting at 6:00 p.m. for $15, which includes a complimentary beverage.
