Ladybird Brewing, founded by Kaydee and Laura Riggs-Johnson in February 2018, transformed their passion for crafting beer into a thriving homebrewing venture. Using a 1/2 barrel SS Brewtech system and a repurposed fridge kegerator, they began brewing a diverse range of styles enriched with locally sourced Kansas ingredients from Werner Creek Farm and Kansas Hop Co. Their first beer debuted at the Walnut Valley Festival Beer Garden in September 2021, followed by the grand opening of their Brewery and Taproom on November 27, 2021, coinciding with Laura's birthday.
