Details:
Compassion in Practice blends the study of active and passive yoga practices with nonviolent communication over a four-day immersion.
We welcome Judith Hanson Laster back to the studio for a 4-day exploration of yoga through movement, breath and how we communicate.
We will gather at Revolution Yoga in Santa Rosa, California, to explore the practice.
Meeting days and times are:
Thursday, Feb. 25 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 27 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Sunday Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Each day, this workshop will be broken into morning and afternoon sessions. We will use our mornings to practice Active asana, Pranayama, and Restorative yoga. This will help us to create a well-rounded foundation for living our yoga in our daily life, moment by moment.
In the afternoons, we will focus on learning and practicing Nonviolent Communication, which can be considered the “yoga of speech."
Judith says: "NVC has been one of the greatest influences both in my private and teaching life."
This workshop will be held from Feb. 25-28 at our Lewis studio location, 510 Lewis Rd. Santa Rosa.
Required text: "What We Say Matters," by Judith Hanson Lasater and Ike Lasater. Please read Chapter 2 in the required text before we meet.
