Friends of Wilmington Parks is a non-profit community organization founded in 1991. We are actively involved with the Delaware Division of Parks & Recreation and The City of Wilmington in the preservation and maintenance of the Wilmington State Parks, sponsoring Environmental/STEM Education for Title 1 students, and organizing cultural events in Alapocas Run, Brandywine and Rockford Parks. We are an active 501(c)(3) organization with 16 board members and professional staff.
