Details:
Join us this summer at the Kennett Library for engaging experiences in the Children's Makerspace and lively Toddler Music sessions! The Children's Makerspace will feature themed open hours each week from Tuesday to Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and all day on Saturdays. No registration is required, so just drop in to explore a variety of projects:
- **July 7-11**: Create Wind Wands and learn about wind energy by powering an LED with a simple Wind Generator project.
- **July 14-18**: Dive into Indi Robot Exploration by coding robot cars through puzzles and mazes.
- **July 21-25**: Discover the wonders of Mechanical Automata inspired by inventors in motion, and build a moving machine using cardboard and basic mechanics.
- **July 28 - August 1**: Participate in the Parachute Challenge, where you'll design a parachute for a LEGO figure, applying concepts of gravity and air resistance.
Additionally, join us for Toddler Music sessions designed for children ages 2-6, featuring singing, rhythmic exercises with instruments, and expressive movement, with opportunities for parents to get involved in music-making.
Please remember that children under eleven must be accompanied by a responsible caregiver. Both programs enhance literacy and creativity, supporting the PA Forward Star Program. For more details on our policies and the Kennett Library Makerspaces, please visit our website.
