Join us at the Wilmington Public Library Commons Area for a powerful Juneteenth celebration presented by the Global Garvey Symposia Series and UNIA-ACL. This community gathering will honor Black history, resilience, and cultural empowerment through a Reparations Healing Exhibition, Vegan Culinary Arts, and discussions on Decolonizing Early Childhood. The event brings together an outstanding group of partners, including the Drop Squad Kitchen, Jamaican Heritage Reggae Museum, Teaching Artist Institute (TAI) , Caribbean American Heritage Month, the Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce (CACCOE) , Ukumbusho Cure and MAAFA. Together, these organizations will create an afternoon of education, culture, healing, and community at the Wilmington Public Library.
