Diane is a mixed media figurative painter but loves to experiment with different media depending on her subject. Although traditionally trained, Diane is more interested in portraying the emotional state of her subject and the environment in which they find themselves, hoping the viewer can find a connection and relate to it on a personal level. Diane is a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist in the state of Ohio. She is the Art Therapist at Julie Billiart School and an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling and Art Therapy Graduate program at Ursuline College. She has her studio within Stella's Art Gallery and Studios in Willoughby, Ohio. Diane is involved in organizing community art events and uses art to encourage self expression and creativity in others.
