Blue Violin

Described by the Boston Ballet as an “Electrifying violinist,” the Blue Violin made his New York debut at Weil Recital, Carnegie Hall, and has performed with distinguished artists such as Gloria Estefan, Paul Simon, and Jennifer Holliday as well as a special appearance with John Mayer, and Sesame Street. “[Blue Violin] explore[s] different ways of sparking musical interest,” says Boston Globe. In doing so, he has played for varied audiences including George H.W. Bush, Queen Rainia of Jordan, Queen Noor, Mitt Romney, and First Lady, Laura Bush. He has toured with internationally acclaimed recording artist/composer Tim Janis, Fionnuala Gill (Riverdance), Orla Fallon (Celtic Woman) and EMI recording artists Giorgia Fumanti and Ryland Angel. Blue Violin is the founder/1st violinist of the Boston String Quartet, a contemporary classical ensemble. Blue Violin has collaborated on several albums for former Scorpions member Robin McAuley, GRAMMY-Winning Turtle Island Quartet, Jeanette Olsson from GLEE!, Jamey Haddad, and Dave Fiuczynski. He has conducted hundreds of contemporary string playing clinics with over 10,000 high school students nationwide through his work with the Boston String Quartet.
