Have you done or are planning to do DNA testing to find out about your heritage? Learn how to use those results to help you research your family's genealogy and gain a beginner’s understanding of DNA, how it works and its benefits.

Join Nancy McCurdy from the Lycoming County Genealogical Society for a presentation discussing why you would want to use DNA results in conjunction with genealogy research. She will help you to understand how DNA is inherited and what you can learn from that with respect to your ancestry and genealogy. She will also explain what results you can expect by using DNA. Nancy will do an hour long presentation and then be available for questions afterward.
