**Nature Art: August at Powder Valley Art Gallery**
This August, Powder Valley Nature Center showcases an impressive array of nature-inspired artwork, featuring award-winning nature photographer Noppadol Paothong as the highlighted artist. Paothong, a staff photographer with the Missouri Department of Conservation, is celebrated for his contributions to national publications like Audubon and National Wildlife. His work, which has garnered numerous accolades including "Best of the Best" Picture of the Year, will be on display throughout the month in the Art Gallery.
Additionally, on August 9 from 11 am to 1 pm, attendees can meet artist Brenda Seyer and learn about her captivating pieces, also showcased for the entire month. The exhibition includes Janet Bonnot's striking nature-inspired rock paintings in the west wing hallway, part of the JC Rocks movement, available for viewing until December 2025. This family-friendly event requires no registration and promises to be a celebration of nature art for all ages.
