Join us on Saturday, July 4, 2026, for the Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration and "Most Patriotic" Parade as we honor America's 250th anniversary. The festivities kick off with open registration for the “Most Patriotic” Parade at 8:15 a.m. at the corner of 9th and Ohio, where participants can enter for FREE and compete for First and Second Place Ribbons in four categories: Children 0-6, Children 7-12, Antique Car, and Specialty. The parade starts at 9:00 a.m., winding from 9th Street and Ohio up to Bluff Street, ending at the Kell House Museum. Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route to cheer on participants, including local dignitaries, Lady Liberty, and Uncle Sam.
Following the parade, join us at the Kell House (900 Bluff Street) for a traditional salute to America, featuring the presentation of award winners, the Pledge of Allegiance, and more. Enjoy fun activities from 9:30 a.m. to noon, including a cake walk, face painting, and yard games. Local businesses and non-profits are welcome to set up activity booths.
