How can we name this mysterious something and make it part of our mindscape? inspired by the work of Louise Nevelson and Toshiko Takaezu, journalist, nonvisual advocate, interpreter and creative writer Elizabeth Sammons will walk through our relationship with art we love in her talk “What’s Your Next Move?” In dialogue and activities, you will discover how you can transform what you see in our museum from what meets the eye into a dynamic relationship. About Elizabeth Sammons Raised in Knox County, Elizabeth says she was blessed to have a family that encouraged her curiosity, her sense of adventure and a deep sense of wonder about our world. Along with extensive travel and language studies, Elizabeth holds a degree in journalism and has published one novel, The Lyra and the Cross.
