The Historic Olde Town Arvada Association (HOTA) is a non-profit organization established in June 2001. Its mission is to foster a thriving historic community with unique character, promoting Olde Town as a vibrant shopping district, creating memorable experiences, and preserving its history for future generations. HOTA focuses on economic revitalization within the context of historic preservation, aiming to make Olde Town the vibrant heart of Arvada. The Olde Town Arvada Business Improvement District (BID), created in 2014, shares a similar mission to preserve, promote, and enhance the vibrancy of Olde Town. The BID strives to create an identifiable and active business district that is inclusive, allowing diverse businesses to prosper and offering an authentic experience through advocacy, marketing, events, placemaking, mobility, physical improvements, and safety initiatives. Olde Town itself is a historic district listed on the National Register of Historic Places, known for its turn-of-the-century Main Street Americana ambiance, offering a diverse array of shops, boutiques, galleries, events, restaurants, breweries, and a winery.
