Kids in the Kitchen: Baking Master Class

The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will offer a baking class for children ages 8-14 in Brenham. The cost is $25 for 4-H members and $40 for non-members. Registration is available online and the deadline to register is May 29. The class is limited to the first 20 participants, so early registration is encouraged. Participants will learn basic baking skills while building confidence, creativity and kitchen safety habits. No prior baking experience is needed, just a willingness to have fun and try something new. During the class participants will: Make homemade cinnamon rolls from scratch. Prepare a brownie mix to take home and bake later. Decorate sugar cookies with colorful icing toppings. Create freezer cookie dough to save and bake anytime.
