During this lecture, discover the healing power of plants! This engaging talk will explore the fascinating world of medicinal herbs, gaining insight into how plants have supported wellness across cultures and centuries. Attendees will learn about a variety of medicinal herbs, many of which can be grown here in Texas, from Master Gardener Melody Lindley. Melody Lindley is a Certified Master Gardener with Fort Bend County since 2020. She has Master Gardener Advanced Training certifications in Herbs in 2024 (Focus on Medical Herbs and Poisonous Plants) and Junior Master Gardener Youth Activities 2022.
