Class #5, final session of Coding for Kids in grades 4 & 5, taught by Computer Science Professor Fletcher. Held at 11:05 - 12:00 p.m. on Saturdays May 16, 23, 30, June 6 and June 13. Held in the Children's Room today.
This engaging, hands-on class introduces students to coding using Code.org Participants will strengthen their problem-solving and logical thinking skills while building interactive programs, games, and projects.
In the final weeks, students will explore the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and learn how it connects to the technology they use every day.
No prior coding experience required—just curiosity and a readiness to create!
Each child must bring a laptop to use during the sessions. Registration required. Limit of 15 children. Registration opens 1 month before class starts (April 16). To register, use the form on May 16 (class #1), which enrolls the youth for the 5 week series, or call the Children's Room at 781 848-0405 x4425.
