Card making: Celebrate our Nations Independence

Join us for a festive celebration in honor of America's 250th Independence Day at Thayer Public Library! From 10 AM to 4 PM, children of all ages are invited to design and decorate cards to commemorate our nation's freedom, with all supplies provided. This event is part of the nationwide 250th celebration and also aligns with the Thayer Public Library's Plant a Seed, Read Summer Reading Programs, supported by the Massachusetts Library System, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and local sponsor Starland Sportsplex.

Additionally, kids can unleash their creativity in our Fun Foodie Photo Contest! Create a face, object, or scene using food, snap a picture, and email it to the Children's Room at childrens@braintree.OCLN.org. Your creations will be displayed in the library, and you could win a mini-golf pass at Starland Sportsplex & Fun Park. Don’t miss the chance to participate in these exciting summer activities!
