Wasatch Community Gardens is organizing another round of focus groups to gather insights from individuals who are currently involved in or are seriously interested in urban farming in Salt Lake County. The purpose of these groups is to ensure that WCG's Farm Incubator Program and site designs are on track to support the needs of farmers and growers in our local food community.
We will share the programming tracks and structure being developed, the site plan for WCG's Glendale Farm Hub, and the current status of the Farm Incubator Group Site (FIGS). We welcome participants to share their input and experience and let us know if the offerings we are working on will help meaningfully address challenges faced by themselves and other local urban farmers.
This is the 2nd focus group for those who couldn't attend on the 13th. It will be Monday, July 20, 2026, 6:00-8:00 PM at the Farm Incubator Group Site in South Salt Lake (3188 S 1100 W, South Salt Lake).
Food and beverages will be provided. Registration is free, but please let us know how many people will attend in your group. This is an outdoor event and will include walking around the sites. Please contact maddie@wasatchgardens.org if you have any questions!
