West Division Commander's Forum

On July 22, 2026, the Long Beach community is invited to participate in a series of engaging events aimed at fostering dialogue and creative expression.

1. **Police Oversight Commission Meeting**: From 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Civic Chambers (411 W Ocean Blvd), this meeting will allow residents to provide input on police oversight matters, discuss recommendations, and share community concerns related to the Long Beach Police Department. 2. **West Division Commander's Forum**: Concurrently, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Division Substation, community members are encouraged to engage with West Division Commander Costa, discuss issues, and connect with the police department. Additionally, there are two creative activities for younger audiences:

- **A Splash of Watercolor @ Harte**: From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Harte Neighborhood Library (1595 W. Willow St.), children and teens can explore watercolor painting techniques.
