Brian Richards: Reading is Dino-Mite

Join us for a summer full of exciting reading events at the Morris County Library! Kids aged 3 to 12 can kick off the fun with "Reading is Dino-Mite," featuring magician Brian Richards who will entertain with magic, comedy, and puppet storytelling. Parents or caregivers must accompany children, and registration is required starting July 7.

Teens aged 13 to 18 can participate in the Teen Summer Reading Bingo from June 29 to August 15, 2026. Pick up a Bingo Card at the Readers Services desk, mark off squares as you read and complete challenges, and be among the first to submit your card for a chance to win cool prizes, including an Unearth a Story swag bag and a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card.

Children 12 and under are invited to register for the Summer Reading Club starting June 15, with reporting from June 29 to August 8. Participants will receive a goody bag and can earn raffle tickets for a grand prize drawing for another Barnes & Noble gift card, with winners announced on August 10.

Adults aged 18 and older can join the Adult Summer Reading Bingo from June 1 to August 31, 2026. Complete squares on the bingo card by reading and submit it by 9:00 p.m. on August 31 for a chance to win one of three $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards.

Additionally, teens can explore their creative side with weekly Grab and Go crafts available at the Reader Services Desk, limited to one craft per teen per week while supplies last. Happy reading and crafting to all ages!
