Details:
Join us for an exciting multi-disciplinary camp experience that combines technology and science in a fun and engaging way! In "Spies vs Robots," campers will delve into the world of espionage by using spy gadgets like night vision goggles and decoding messages, while also stepping into the shoes of a detective to learn about evidence gathering and analysis. Transitioning to robotics, participants will have the opportunity to build their own robot from a kit to take home, exploring the fundamentals and history of robotics along the way.
In "STEM Odyssey," kids will embark on an exploratory journey through fundamental topics in life and physical sciences, answering intriguing questions about the world around them. They'll learn fascinating concepts through hands-on activities, such as understanding what makes their hair stand on end, distinguishing between magnets and magic, and unraveling the mystery of carbohydrates.
Additionally, "Forces and Flight" offers a hands-on experience that traces the evolution of flying machines and rockets. Campers will create various flying devices while learning about Newton's laws of motion and the wonders of our Milky Way galaxy. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack, while lunch and beverages will be provided.
Join us for a summer filled with discovery, innovation, and creativity, where campers will explore the intersections of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics! *Note: Children must be current students at the school to participate, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
