A Journey Through Pastels

Experience the vibrant creativity of local artists at our dual exhibition running from July 21 to August 29, 2026, at the Tevis Gallery. "A Journey Through Pastels" showcases the expressive beauty and versatility of soft pastel through a juried selection of work by members of the Maryland Pastel Society. Featured pieces range from serene landscapes and intimate portraits to bold contemporary artworks, highlighting the medium's unique ability to convey both immediacy and depth.

Simultaneously, "Art 'Round Town" celebrates a diverse array of original creations by local and regional artists, encompassing fine art, sculpture, metalwork, fiber arts, and more. This eclectic exhibition reflects the rich talent of Carroll County, inviting visitors to see familiar themes and materials from fresh perspectives.

Both exhibitions offer free admission to the public, allowing everyone to appreciate the skill and creativity in these remarkable displays. Visit us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12pm to 7pm, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm to 4pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
