A Journey Through Pastels

Join us for a vibrant celebration of artistic expression at the Carroll County Arts Council, featuring two exciting exhibitions: A Journey Through Pastels and Art 'Round Town. From July 21 to August 29, 2026, the Tevis Gallery will showcase the remarkable versatility of soft pastels through a juried exhibition by members of the Maryland Pastel Society. Experience the expressive beauty of pastel art, with a diverse array of subjects, styles, and perspectives that highlight the medium's unique ability to convey depth and emotion.

Simultaneously, Art 'Round Town celebrates the creativity of local and regional artists through an eclectic showcase of fine art, sculpture, metalwork, and fiber arts, inviting visitors to discover the diverse techniques and materials that reflect the spirit of Carroll County. Both exhibitions are free to the public and open during select hours: Tuesday & Thursday from 12pm-7pm, Wednesday & Friday from 12pm-4pm, and Saturday from 10am-4pm, with extended hours during films and events.
