This fall, the shadows of Fleet Street descend upon the GEM Theater in One More Productions’ thrilling third show of the season!
A dark, razor-sharp tale of vengeance, love, and meat pies, this Tony Award-winning masterpiece will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first chilling note to the final twist of fate.
Set in 19th century London, the story follows Benjamin Barker as he returns home from being unjustly exiled, to seek revenge from the man who framed him and ravaged his young wife. Assuming the identity of Sweeney Todd, he teams up with Mrs. Lovett, the pie shop owner, and unleashes his revenge.
With dazzling production design, immersive storytelling, and a wicked sense of humor, backed by exceptional vocalists and dynamic performers, this production delivers Sondheim’s haunting score with breathtaking intensity and theatrical flair. Sweeney Todd promises to be an unforgettable night at the theater.

Doors open at 6:30pm. Auditions begin at 7:00pm. First come first seen. You must have a headshot or current photo with a resume. No submissions accepted.
OPEN VOCAL CALL Monday, July 6th and Tuesday, July 7th 7:00pm-9:00pm
Accompanist is provided. Be prepared to sing 16-32 measures of a song. Provide sheet music in the proper key, cut to 16-32 measures and in a 3-ring binder. Please no songs from the show.
INVITED CALLBACKS Wednesday, July 8th
By invitation only. Doors will open at 7pm. Callbacks begin at 7:30pm.
Rehearsals begin July 13th and run Mondays – Thursdays 7pm to 11pm, Saturdays 10am – 6pm and some Sundays 12pm – 6pm.
Performances run August 20th – September 27th. Thursdays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. There are no shows on Thursdays 9/3, 9/10, 9/17. There are 2pm and 8pm shows on Saturdays 9/5, 9/12, 9/19.
