The Chester County Library System (CCLS) is a federated system established in 1965, comprising a District Center Library in Exton and seventeen member libraries across Chester County, Pennsylvania. Its mission is to provide informational, educational, and cultural services to residents and member libraries, fostering lifelong learning. The system offers a wide array of materials, including books, DVDs, audiobooks, eBooks, and eAudiobooks, supporting early literacy, education, and personal enrichment. Both the Chester County Library and its Henrietta Hankin Branch serve as community centers, offering workspaces, meeting rooms, homework assistance, and diverse educational and cultural programs. CCLS actively supports the PA Forward initiative, aiming to enhance citizens' literacy in basic, information, civic and social, health, and financial areas. The Chester County Library Trust, a 501(c)3 organization, further supports the library system by developing financial resources for collections, programs, and projects, including initiatives like the Museum Pass program and the MakerSpace at Henrietta Hankin Branch.
