Details:
Join us for two engaging storytime events at the Downingtown Library, designed for young children ages 2-6 along with their caregivers. First, participate in the Sensory Friendly Storytime led by Miss Emma, a certified Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism. This program, tailored for ages 2-5, provides individualized attention in a smaller class setting with visual schedule cards, opportunities for unstructured play, and social skills practice, incorporating American Sign Language and AAC devices. Storytime sessions will be held on June 4, 11, 18, and 25 from 11:00-11:30 AM.
Additionally, don't miss the Box Turtle Storytime with Mr. Jared, featuring a special guest, Mr. Charlie the Box Turtle! This event, part of our Unearth A Story Summer Reading series, invites children ages 2-6 for a delightful story about turtles, followed by an interactive activity with Mr. Charlie. Registration is required for both programs, and space is limited to ensure a personalized experience. Please register only the attending child; accompanying adults do not need to register. For questions, reach out to Miss Rebecca at rviola@ccls.org.
